This place offers exquisite views over the city and both locals and visitors gather here to enjoy the sun set over the Mediterranean.

While you are here, why not experience the cuisine with a traditional Flamenco show combined.

6. Explore the architectural delights:

Barcelona’s architecture is synonymous with the great Antoni Gaudi from the modernism era. His most famous legacy is the magnificent La Sagrada Familia, but there are plenty more to see besides, such as Casa Mila, Casa Bitilo and Parc Guell.

7. Discover the Gothic Quarter:

Here you will find the Picasso Museum, The Placa Reial and be able to take in the amazing modernist architecture of the many churches such as Palau de la Music Catalana which is a world heritage site.

8. Day Trip to Montserrat:

Perhaps you fancy hiking in the mountains or maybe horseback riding. You could even take a trip to the Montserrat Monastery.

This is no ordinary cemetery. Built in 1883 and stretching over 57 acres of the steep slopes of Montjuïc you will be delighted by the variety of gothic and modern designs as you make your way through the winding pathways between the terraces.

10. Day or Weekend Trip to Costa Brava:

Maybe you have had enough of Barcelona, worry not the region of Costa Brava is within easy reach by train or car. Here you can visit the delights of the Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres and the splendid white buildings in the traditional Cadaqués.
